Saabira has had a long time love affair with graphic drawing and cell-shaded imagery. From a young age, her drawings have been heavily influenced by animation. Saabira began delving into Abstract drawing in early 2018. Her designs are playful, colourful and very engaging. She takes inspiration from both the Art Deco period and Mid-Century Modern Architecture. Saabira reduces her iconography to a simple line and a circle. How they choose to interact is the joy that is Saabira’s style.

In 2020, Saabira began creating extremely free-formed designs with Alcohol Ink. These artworks are completely random and really showcase Saabira’s love affair with Colour, texture and form. These Ink Abstractions reminisce plant life, organic forms and movement. Be mesmerised by the ebb and flow of these colourful designs.
